The seminar aims to share experiences and good practices of EU-China cooperation in the ITS field. The Viajeo project is co-funded by the European Commission DG Research under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7). The Specific International Cooperation (SICA) runs from 01/09/2010 to 31/08/2012 and has two demonstrations site in China: Beijing and Shanghai.

 

At the seminar, the Viajeo activities and achievements of EU-China cooperation will be presented. Good practice and experiences on EU-China cooperation in technologies will be shared. The seminar will bring together speakers with many years of experience in EU-China cooperation. Participants will also discuss future opportunities and strategies. Key note speakers include:

 

  • Mr. Frédéric Sgarbi, Head of Unit, DG Research, European Commission
  • Ms. Ping Lu, Deputy Director, Science Technology & Information Division, Shanghai Municipal Transport and Port Authority
  • Mr. Jean-François Janin,  General Engineer, Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Sea, France
  • Mr. Philippe Caradec, Resident Director of ParisTech in China
  • Prof. Pengjun Zheng, Faculty of Maritime and Transportation, Ningbo University
  • Prof. Reinhart Kuehne, Head of Transportation Studies, German Aerospace Centre (DLR)

All participants should gather at the Hotel Pullman Skyway to be transfered to the Seminar venue. Departure time is 08:00.
