"Chinese alumni formed in France are pivotal for sustainable urban development"

Concludes event at the French Pavilion on 19 May at the Shanghai Expo

 

The French General Consulate in Shanghai, in partnership with MEEDDM, organised on 19 May, at the French Pavilion at Shanghai Expo, a forum on sustainable urban development.


This meeting was devoted to the Chinese professionals formed in France who work in the domains of sustainable urban development, notably within French firms and study offices established in China. By their knowledge of Chinese and French practices the domains of development, city planning, architecture, transport, environment and energy, these alumni enjoy a double expertise for urban development respectful of the environment and that fights against climate change.


This forum, organised on half a day by debates, was followed by cocktail, and allowed to introduce better collaboration and existing plans, to favour exchanges of good practices and the meeting with French and Chinese experts of this field.
